Company

History

XS Networks was founded in 2003 by Eric Veraart as supplier of webhosting, domain registration and dedicated servers. As one of the first Dutch companies XS Networks used a system of energy efficient server blades for her on-line services. These were supplied by RLX Technologies Inc. which is been taken over by HP to provide the base for her server blade technology.

Later on XS Networks ceased her web hosting services and shifted her focus to managed services like managed servers and clusters. Therefore she set up a partnership with Iridia ICT services in 2006.

Iridia ICT Services also dates back from 2003. Maarten Engelen founded Iridia ICT Services to deliver system management and application development. Next to that she provided other divers activities in the area of webhosting.

In 2007 XS Networks and Iridia ICT Services made office in Amsterdam near the most important data center for her services. From this office they provided both their solutions together on the area of on-line service.

In 2009 XS Networks and Iridia ICT Services merged to continue as XS Networks. Now the focus lies in providing managed solutions on all levels of IT-infrastructure.
